In the winter of 2016/2017, from November to March, I worked for customer Alex in Portland. He had had a contractor reframe the layout of his 2 apartment building to upgrade and modernize it. There was a problem and Alex hired me after the framing, rough electric and plumbing, drywall, and floors had been installed. My job was to replace all the windows (15), install all the doors (10), install all the shelves, install the shelves, install the butcher block counter tops, install the sink, toilet, and microwave (including the ductwork and roof jack). I also made all the custom oak thresholds.
This is a high end apartment duplex, and the job came out great. It helps to have professional contractor-grade tools to make accurate and precise cuts, including compound miter cuts.
So here are some pictures of the thresholds downstairs. There were seven, but I’ll show 3, with explanatory caption on one of them.
Downstairs required windows to be replaced, a shower door installed, and all the trim work done, including shelves in the dining room open closet. I’ll show 4 pictures.
I’ll show 3 pictures of upstairs – the counter tops, some doors, and some shelves.
This job shows my versatility in remodeling. Everything I do is with a view to craftsmanship quality work. My work is always grade A.
Call me to discuss your project.
